 ๐ŸŒ„ – mist and memories

Our school trip to Kodaikanal and Ramakkalmedu was a journey I will always remember. It was our Plus Two trip, and the excitement started the moment we got on the bus. The road to Kodaikanal was full of curves and green trees on both sides. We sang songs, played games, and shared snacks with laughter all around. As we climbed higher, the weather turned cool, and soft fog slowly covered the roads like a white blanket.

Kodaikanal felt like a dream world. The fresh air, the sound of birds, and the peaceful views made us feel relaxed and happy. We stayed in cozy rooms, woke up early to see the misty mornings, and enjoyed simple things like walking under tall trees, drinking hot tea, and clicking photos with friends. We didn’t rush. We just enjoyed every moment slowly, like time had stopped for us.

The next day, we travelled to Ramakkalmedu in Idukki, and that’s where the real adventure began. The trekking trail was calling us, and we were ready! With backpacks and a bottle of water, we started our trek. The path was steep at some places, rocky in others, but the view kept getting better with every step. We stopped to rest, laughed when we slipped, and helped each other along the way. The cool wind kept us refreshed. As we reached the top, a strong breeze welcomed us  it felt like nature was cheering for us.

At the top of Ramakkalmedu, everything looked so peaceful. We could see green hills far and wide, small houses below, and the giant windmills turning slowly. We stood quietly for a moment, just feeling the wind and watching the view. It felt powerful. Like we had climbed not just a hill, but also made a memory that will stay with us forever.

This trip was more than just a school tour. It was a mix of fun, friendship, nature, and new experiences. Kodaikanal gave us calmness, and Ramakkalmedu gave us adventure. And both places gave us stories we will never forget.
