 Offline for a day

Last Sunday, I decided to try something different. I switched off my phone and kept it away for the whole day. As a college student, I use my phone all the time—for chatting, listening to music, scrolling Instagram, and even studying. So, spending one full day without it felt like a big challenge.

At first, I didn’t know what to do. My hands automatically reached for my phone, and I kept feeling like I was missing something. But slowly, I started enjoying the silence. I cleaned my room, helped my parents in the kitchen, and even went for a short walk. I noticed small things like the sound of birds, the taste of tea, and how peaceful everything felt without constant notifications.

By the end of the day, I felt calm and refreshed. I didn’t miss my phone as much as I thought I would. That one day showed me how much time I usually waste on my phone.
